This painting was the start of my wild and wacky phase of animal painting! I had done an original in oil as a photo-realistic piece with the proper colours, the same size as this one and decided that I really wanted to jazz things up so ended up with this painting. It was total serendipity as I had not planned the colours or done any pre-painting planning. It just evolved as I went along and I loved how it turned out! After painting this I just kept going and the rest of the Rainbow Zoo which are displayed for you all to enjoy.
